Andy Pringle is currently serving as Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ontario. Previously, he has served as Chair of the PC Ontario Fund and, together with John Tory and a dedicated fundraising team, eliminated the Party's $10-million debt in just over two years. He also ran as the PC Candidate in the riding of Etobicoke Centre in the 2007 provincial election. Mr. Pringle previously spent 30 years with RBC Capital Markets, a leading international corporate and investment bank. He retired from that firm in 2002 as Managing Director, Head of Global Fixed Income and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He has also contributed his time and energy to a number of community organizations. He served as the volunteer president of the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research (CANFAR) from 1995 to 2007 at which time became the chairman. He is also a director of the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews (CCCJ), the Canadian Educational Standards Institute (CESI), The Schmeelk Foundation, The Walrus Foundation, and is an advisor to the Evergreen Foundation. He is a past chair of the board of Upper Canada College and a former member of the Fundraising Advisory Committee for The 519 Community Centre.
